Here at Luton Point we now have four thriving beehives on the roof as well as a pollinator garden to support the hives, as part of our ongoing sustainability plans.
We now have three trainee beekeepers in our team. In June 2024 they extracted this year’s first batch of honey for the season and are now selling jars of delicious local Luton honey. All money raised is donated to Luton Foodbank, a charity that that does excellent work providing food for families in need in the local community. Thousands of pounds have been raised for the charity through our sales of local honey over the last couple of years.
