Get creative and decorate a cake to capture the spirit and celebrations of VE Day!
We have two competition categories: 16 years and over and Under 16 years. Cakes will be judged on their appearance by a panel of judges from Luton Point.
As we are celebrating 80 years since VE Day, the winner of each category will receive an £80 gift card for a store of their choice.
Delivery Details:
- Date: 8th May
- Time: By 3pm
- Location: Central Square
Alternatively, you can deliver your cake to Centre Management (Gallery level) on 7th May between 8am and 5pm.
Entry Requirements:
- Register your entry via our sign-up form by 5pm on 6th May
- Attach your name, age, and contact number to your entry.
Judging will be at 3.30pm with the winners announced just before 4pm.

T&Cs
- Entrants must submit the sign-up form by 5pm on 6th May if they’d like to enter this competition
- The sign-up form is through Google Forms and will be deleted after the event. No details given will be stored.
- Cake must be delivered by 3pm on 8th May to be entered into the competition.
- Cakes don’t have to be baked by the entrant, but should be decorated by them
- Judges will not be tasting or touching the cakes. Judging will be based on appearance only. Entrants can collect their cakes after judging has completed at 4pm on 8th May.
- Teams can enter but the prize must be shared between them.
- The prize is one £80 gift card for each category.
- There is no cash/prize alternative available.
- Competition prizes must be collected. They will not be posted or couriered, even if the cost is covered by the winner.
- Employees of Luton Point and any agencies connected with the competition and their families, are not eligible to enter.
- The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Data collected is for the purposes of this competition only, including notifying the winners, and will be deleted after the competition is complete.
- Please be aware of spam accounts, and fake accounts posing as Luton Point on competitions. We will never ask for your bank details in order to enter a competition. Winners will only be contacted by our team.
- By entering into this competition, the entrant agrees to have photos and videos taken for publicity and social media purposes.
